This is the most catching on this phone.Overall fantastic, Sleek design, Polyphonic color display, superb ring tones, and overall superior Call Quality. I love this phone.I will surely purchase a enhanced model of this same series in future.Thanks In my familiy of 4 we use this so much rugged and its pretty durable and still works like a new one. I have this phone since July 2008, Believe me this is one of the best phone ever i had. This is my 6th Cordless Phone, I had GE, other Panasonic Versions, V-Tech, Uniden, Sony, Etc. Thanks for reading this review. But this one Rocks. The battery inside is AAA ( PAnasonic rechargable).
I've been completely happy with this phone system. It is simple, crsip, and reliable.
i am soooo disappointed in this phone because i love panasonic. i bought the phone new to only recieve a refurbished phone and it took two weeks to get another phone. NO i bought this phone in feb with excitement to only have to pay 13.00 to mail it back to panasonic for repair. the speaker went out on one of the bases. DO I RECOMMEND.
Amazingly the charge on it lasts for much longer than most of the cordless phones that I have used. This was the only time I had to refer to the Manual so far to figure out how to De-register the handset with the base and then re-register it. You can listen to your voice messages either on the speaker of the handset or the standard way which is to put the handset against your ear. There have been two instances when upon answering the phone we could not hear anything the other person said nor were they able to hear anything that I said. Every weekend we make international calls talking to friends and family and we use the Speaker phone feature quite a bit. This is the only reason why I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5.
There is also a Ringer off feature on the phone which is great since we have turned the ringer off on the second handset that came with it which we keep in our bedroom. I still need to figure it out. It uses a pair of Rechargeable AAA battries which is excellent. Mute button on the phone works great too.
I have not done that yet but I am sure that would be easy too. Infact I am also going to buy another one of these for my Dad. The Graphical display has options that are very easy to understand. Its small and Lightweight.
Usage of Cordless phones in our house is quite a bit. Answering machine can be operated directly from the Handset - Simply follow the menu options. I have another Amplifier with Headset that I use in the house (same phone line) in my office. I need to refer to the manual one more time for remote operation of the answering machine.
This Phone has all the features that I was looking for. Excellent voice quality and clarity on the speaker phone. I am not sure if that could be interfering with this handset or not.
The only grouse I have is, the recent calls list is not easily accessible, need to go through a loop, when we are in a hurry, it is hard sometimes. It is not rocket science to use all the features on this phone. The color screen is definitely a welcome change. We really like the Panasonic Expandable Digital Cordless Dect 6.0 Phone System (KXTG8232B. It has great voice clarity, easy joystick to navigate. We use this phone for more than 5-6 hours a day at a stretch for office calls and the battery life is excellent.
